Scientists have discovered what they believe is a agenetic cause of sever obesity in children!  The team incharge concluded that the loss of a key segment of DNA is to blame.  It said the findings might improve diagnosis of severe obesity–which on occasion has been wrongly attributed to abusive overfeeding.  BBC News gave this report on December 6, 2009.
