Beginning Exercising

Exercising is a great way to start your path of living healthy.  It’s important to realize that you don’t have to be perfect.  Don’t overwork yourself to quickly–when you do that, youend up becoming bitter towards working out and will do it even less.  It is also dangerous.  Exercise safety tips for beginners is a great way to learn about being safe.  So start slowly.  Start out by taking the stairs at work or in the mall instead of the elevators.  You can walk around your neighborhood, or go up and down the stairs in your house an extra time per day.  Other examples of beginning exercises can be found on Fitness 101: The Absolute Beginner’s Guide to Exercise.

Exercising is no joke…it can add many years to your life!

When you want to move on to real workouts, it’s important to choose something you like to do–a sport, running, biking, or more.  Workout videos are also very useful.  They are also very easy to find.  This is a great aerobic workout for beginners that I simply found on youtube.
